When fingerprints of deceased subjects are difficult to obtain due to water immersion, desiccation, or other postmortem causes, often cleaning, softening, and building up the fingertips with chemical agents can help restore ridge detail. In many cases, after cleaning the fingertips, they can successfully be reshaped by injecting Regular or Firming Tissue Builder into the bulb of the fingertip.
Firming Tissue Builder will firm or harden after injection into the finger and is useful with finger tissues that are extremely soft and delicate.
Regular Tissue Builder will remain fluid after injection and is a better option for fingertips that are in good condition.
