Description

Protect your phone against possible security breaches with an OffGrid bag. The OffGrid line includes sleek designs with stitch-less, thermo-welded seams and a new magnetic, single-fold velcro closure mechanism. Each bag is lined with multiple layers of Faraday material to shield devices. The innermost layer is constructed of a diamond ripstop Faraday fabric to prevent abrasion from devices.

This bag employs a single-fold velcro seal that is backed by a magnetic closure. The magnetic closure creates a continuous closed loop to eliminate any gaps that can be infiltrated by signals. The minimalist form of the bag makes this discreet accessory easily transportable for day-to-day use.

Features:

  • Stitch less, thermo-welded seams eliminate holes in Faraday material for maximum shielding strength
  • Water and dust resistant Ripstop fabric prevents tearing
  • Operational size optimized for mobile devices
  • Additional lining improves longevity of Faraday material

Cell Phone Faraday Bag

My job requires me to have my cell phone turned off and stowed out of sight while operating our equipment. I wanted to comply with our rules as much as possible.
This bag is makes it more convenient for me to comply with the out of sight portion.
I appericate the thermo welded seams and the velcro closure.
The welded seams provide a perfect enclosure.
The velcro stays closed and will not allow any item to fall out after being placed into a backpack and getting tumbled around.
Other designs close by only magnets or by mini bungee cords. While easier to access those designs are not as secure/dependable.
The one thing I would improve would pertain to the inner liner.
I think it would be better if the inner liner was secured to the inner compartment. When I take my cell phone out the liner tends to 'follow' the cell phone. The liner then needs to be tucked back into the pouch.
Some days I only get a chance to remove my phone a couple times, but other days I can remove it multiple times. This shouldn't be a big deal, it would just be nicer if it would not 'follow' my phone when I take it out.
