Introducing the Tented Arch Magnetic Latent Print Kit, part of our exclusive Ridge™ line of products designed for forensic professionals by forensic professionals. This basic magnetic powder latent print kit provides the convenience of a small, inexpensive kit to process and develop latent fingerprints. Ideal for patrol officers, it is portable and easy to carry to any crime scene.
The compact Tented Arch kit case features easy-open latches and is made of virgin copolymer polypropylene, delivering rugged, weather-resistant durability to protect its contents. Also included are two magnetic powders contained in innovative Ridge™ Rotating Sifting Jars. These 1.5 ounce jars reduce waste and messy clean up with their attached rotating sifter. Just open the lid and twist the sifter to allow the powder to flow through the holes. When finished, rotate the sifter to prevent powder from coming out of the jar when not in use. Twist the lid back on the Rotating Sifting Jar, and the powder is safely stored. It’s that easy.
NOTE: It is recommended when processing latent prints that the brush or wand not be dipped into any powder jar. Doing so increases the risk of applying too much powder and leads to cross-contamination issues. If possible, shake the powder on a cupped piece of paper.
